Just a reflection on the ability to compromise. The government shut down is the result of our elected officials not having the ability to compromise.  They need to focus on what is right for the country and how they can come to compromise on what they want for the citizens. The shut down is having effects on people in need and will now have real impacts in our community. Also, as we head into the holiday travel season we pray to have the government back up and running to make people can travel regularly to see their loved ones. A good compromise is both sides are not completely happy with the outcome.
