Thought of the Day was from when the Israelites had left Egypt and had made their way to the edge of the promised land. They sent 12 spies who found that the land was wonderful but it was inhabited already by groups of people that scared them. Because of their doubt, instead of getting to enter the promised land, they had to spend another 40 years wandering the desert. It made me think about places in my life where I’ve been scared or doubted and it’s caused me not to pursue a path that was the best path for me and how I can avoid doing that in the future.
