Dora’s revenge

The PAX partnered up for this Dora style  Beatdown. While one PAX Ran to the other sideline and performed 5 Merkins, the other PAX performed the below exercises, switching and combining their reps.

At church this weekend the Pastor’s message talked about a perspective of the Easter story that I never thought about. He talked about Matthew 27:15-26 how Pilate tried to get out of crucifying Jesus by putting putting Jesus up against Barabbas (guilty of many charges deserving death penalty). Pilate’s hope was that the crowd would choose Jesus as the prison to released and for Barabbas to be crucified. When the crowd chose Barabbas to be released, Pilate was completed stunned as he know and claimed that Jesus was innocent.

Our pastor talked about how Jesus would have bern cheering for Barabbas to be released instead of himself because he knew he came to save all of us (in which Barabbas was the 1st).The cross that Jesus carried and was crucified was actually the cross that Barabbas was supposed to carry and be crucified on.
