Workout:
The following exercises were performed in the format of one person exercises while the other observers/rests. Repetitions increases each round until someone gives up.
- Thrusters with 65 lb sandbag = 11 + 10 reps Total of 76 reps
- Double red band curls ( increase by 5 each round) = 85 + 55 Total of 820 reps
- Banded squat jumps ( increase by 2 each round) = 36 Total of 342 reps
6MOM:
3 rounds of 45 seconds plank followed by 30 seconds of rest
COT:
I have not been the best husband as of late and have been listening to Dr Gary Chapman’s books on the love languages to try to get back to a better place. A topic that recently hit home was we often get frustrated with differences between us and our spouse. If we can change our mindset from frustration with those differences to a approach of appreciation, growth of the couple can occur. An example that was given in the book, that spoke to me, was that a husband was irritated that his wife did not like to go hiking with him. Upon reflection the man realized that hiking was time of introspection and stress relief that he only got from doing it individually. If god had not paired him with a spouse who did not like hiking he would not have that time of contemplation.
