Performed the following exercises chosen by the pax in the format of 60 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds of rest. Each exercise was performed for 3 rounds followed by a minute run in between exercises.
- Squats with double coupons and bar
- Deadlifts with double coupons and bar
- Overhead press with double coupons and bar
We wrapped up with 20 continuous with double coupons and bar clean
We both had hard stops this morning so we made the workout fast and furious. COT consisted of the discussion of a concept I recently head about the man riding an elephant. The majority of your thoughts are unconscious. Like the man on the elephant the only way you can control your actions is to train your mind that the elephant is not in control the man is.
I mentioned how even with this concept actively on my mind I still made a decision that was not in alignment with my goals last night. Even though I knew it is what I should have done and received encouragement from my wife. @Ringworm mentioned his with had gone through a similar scenario the last night but she decided to control her elephant.
