Bike

Another solo-Q is in the books for @Scratch ‘n Sniff (Q) who chose one of the 3 R’s and rode a bike for today’s workout.

I’ve been itching to ride my bike since purchasing a new one for my oldest daughter this past weekend. At the store, (it was just she and I having a date day together) she tried out 4-5 of them, but fell in love with the bike that is cooler and better equipped than the one I ride. As I swiped the credit card and loaded it into the car, she was literally shrieking and jumping for pure joy. She had previously been riding one with a peeling seat with foam sticking out, paint scraped off, and roughly 2 sizes too small. She got home and rode it with the biggest and proudest smile on her face for hours.As father’s, what a blessing we have to be able to provide for our families. Being a leader to my gaggle of girls is one of the reasons I was put on this earth.Bonus COT: if you need a good book to read (not a typical F3 recommendation book), I just finished and loved “The art of racing in the rain” by Garth Stein
