We split into teams of 9 with 2 subs for each team.

The verses that I chose for today are Matthew 7:13 and 14:

“Enter by the narrow gate: for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

It seems that we often have this completely backwards. The hard way to the narrow gate is Jesus calling us to live lives of virtue. By living lives of virtue, we will never shy away from who God is calling us to be and what He is calling us to do. When living in this way, God gives us the grace needed to stay on the hard and narrow bath. His grace is what makes his hoke easy and his burden light.

My challenge for all of us is to take some time in silence with God this weekend to reflect on this passage.
