Charging into 2025

Warm-up:

SSHs, Arm Circles, Turn-and-Bounce, Tappy taps, flamingos, catcher pose things.

Workout:

After clearing off the lines every 5-yards so we knew where we were, pax performed the following:

Beginning at the Goal Line:
25 yard run (to the 25 yd line), 25 air squats
20 yard backwards run (to the 5 yd line), 20 merkins
Rinse and repeat 8 rounds (until you complete the round at the 40s), then…
25 yard bear crawl, 25 big boys
20 yard crawl bear, 20 dips

The 20 and 25 reps/yards mark the start of 2025.

We were always running/crawling farther ahead than falling back, symbolizing the progress we can make all year long despite any setbacks. Finally, anytime we went backwards, we still faced forward, reminding us that while we might revisit things from our past, we should keep focus on what’s ahead of us, because that is what we can truly impact. (Note: we didn’t make it all the way to the other goal line – I guess that’s an unintended lesson to add for 2025: even if we don’t hit our goals, make them grand enough that you can still be proud of the progress you’ve made, regardless of the finish)
