Gulag to Gratitude: Message today was based on looking back at the east lot, a time when we were without the stadium facilities and it felt like a daily grind.  It wasn’t ideal, but we made it work because the mission mattered. Now, we have the stadium again—wide open space, good footing, better conditions. It’s easy to take that for granted.  Sometimes it takes looking back to put your current state in perspective.In life, too, we often don’t appreciate the blessings until we remember the days when things were harder. Gratitude grows when we keep perspective.
