COT:
- Matthew 5:9 – “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
- Thanksgiving and the holidays have been on my heart the last week or so. I have been asking myself the following question: “What does a good Thanksgiving look like?” and “What can I do to help make this happen?”
- Many families deal with conflict, brokenness, and some level of dysfunction…mine is no exception. I read Matthew 5:9, and challenge myself, how can I actively enter into the holidays with humility to help reconcile any family conflict, or to help deepen family relationships. How can I listen better and love better…. what should I say or not say, that will bless others?
- As we reflect on the loss of @Waddles friend, we reminded each other that we don’t know how many more family gatherings we may have and people may be struggling on the inside with something very serious. This Thanksgiving my prayer is that we take time to engage, love, and affirm those in our families.
- Take some time over the next couple of days to think about “What does a good Thanksgiving look like.”
