Focker

Workout:

PAX took turns down the line on the west end zone goal line to pick an exercise followed by a mode  of transportation to the 50yd line and back.
First round 10 reps and mode of transport
Second round 15 reps and mode of transport.
Total of 125 reps of various exercises and 1000yds crawled, hopped, lunged, and sprinted. Good work men!

6MOM:

some planks during @Mormon choice of Peter Gabriel’s ‘In Your Eyes’ – curls to start, then planks to finish the song. PAX held our coupons above our heads, John Cusack style, during the chorus.

COT:

money can’t buy time: I shared a hospital scare with the guys about my dad’s trip to the ER two nights ago. He thought he might be showing signs of a heart attack. Everything is fine. Cardiac enzymes and EKG were normal. Dad just needs to remind himself to drink more water while he is working on drywall all day. Incidentally, while I was over checking on my dad, he shared with me that a former pastor of ours is showing signs of slowing down a bit as he gets older. We decided right there that time waits for no one and that we would make a point to get out to spend time with Fr. Hollis and with each other in a couple weeks before I go back to work.

It’s said that no one ever wishes they picked up more shifts in their life when they are on their death bed. Money isn’t everything and it’s something I often have to remind myself of when I’m thinking of trying for the overtime shifts or stressing about the finances. Don’t constantly stress about the world of work. Focus on your personal life, family and faith and the people who matter most to you. Thanks for following today men. Always a pleasure to lead!
