Fun with Finch

Started with a Motivator from 11. Everyone loved the bonus rep. Pax grabbed two coupons to be used during the workout and started our first set of sprints. Pax paired up and competed in a 50 yard sprint. The winner would stay in the same spot while the loser would rotate to the next spot to compete with somebody different. As rotations continued if you ended up in the same matchup as before, the Pax who lost the previous matchup got a 5 yard head start. Did this for 9 rounds. circled up and did 20 big boys and 50 4 count spiders. Back to sprint groups but this time had to do the sprint with a block. Completed 5 rounds. Did a set of 25 curls and 25 OH Presses then moved to the final round. Pax split into 2 teams this time to complete Bob the Builder to the 50 yard line and back. Completed 2 rounds.

Thought of the day was on Micah 6:8 “Do justice, love mercy and walk humbly”. In my mind doing justice and loving mercy are a paradox that wouldn’t really go together, but upon a further look, the mercy being referred to is mercy that only God can provide. So we are called to do justice, but then love the times when God shows mercy, which is great when we feel like we’ve done something wrong but a harder concept when we feel like somebody has wronged us.
