The PAX started at goal line with KB in their right hand. They Ran with it in right hand until they couldn’t hold any longer. Put KB down and ‘sprinted’ to the other goal line then jog back to KB. Pick KB up with left hand – rinse and repeat.
This week at Grace, the message was about 2 practical tools to use when facing anxiety.
- Invite the Holy Spirit to help you
- Cast your cares on Jesus
I found myself doing just that in the middle of the night Monday as we were rushing my younger daughter, Emily, to the ER due to an allergic reaction to something. Feeling overwhelmed Standing in the ER room with her watching 2 doctors and 8 nurses swarm her, I immediately did both inviting the Holy Spirit into the room and cast Emily at the feet of Jesus. It did not solve the problem and she was still experiencing difficulties, but it did bring some slight comfort to me as everything was out of my control.
