Comeback Kid


Various leg and ab exercises for time and cadence: started with two minutes of wall sits, moved to a minute of step-ups on the retaining wall, moved on to the 1 to 4 squat to Bonnie Blairs routine – 1 to 4, 2 to 8, 3 to 12……….10 to 40. It sucked. Then we did big boys in cadence. Next we bear crawled to the 50 yard line where we did surrenders and Freddie mercurys. On to the other endzone via duckwalk. There we did lbc’s. Next we lunger across the endzone and did monkey humpers and glute bridges. This was followed by crawl bear to the 50-yard line. We then finished up with Captain Thor.


I beat myself up often when I repeat behaviors and thoughts that I had considered to have been overcome. This verse reminded me that we are a work in progress!

Philippians 1:6 NLT 6
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
