Ruck

1 HIM rucked alone, but not really (see COT below).

Physically, I was the only one rucking. Spiritually, I was not alone. I don’t usually pray out loud, but I talked out loud for every step of the 2 miles I trekked.

During mile 1, I prayed for each member of my family. During mile 2, I prayed for the men of this group, those we we do and don’t realize we have an impact on. And, I thanked God for this beautiful world and everything he’s created within it.

Towards the end of my walk, I contemplated our free will and the path for our lives already being written. If you really think about it, it’ll blow your mind to try and comprehend that at each fork in your life’s road, the path in every direction is known by Him. I now realize that this is a concept I find very interesting and want to try and understand more. If anyone has a suggested reading or listen, I’d like to know what it is.
