Waiting. And waiting. And waiting warmup.
Since I was so warmed up from waiting around, I took off for a blazing 2mi run. Mile 1 was 8:30 and mile 2 was 7:30. (I guess I got even warmer.)
Then, it was off to the parking lot for some brutal full-body kettlebell work with the metal monkey. (not the first or last time I was alone and playing with my monkey)
I skipped it, because I do what I want.
It may feel like a SSDD situation in your life. But, is it just your point of view? Frame your day as a gift!
“I ‘get’ to wake up and do X, Y, Z today; COOL!”
Positive self talk that to yourself each time you are feeling SSDD and your day may not improve, but your attitude towards it, and ability to cope with it, will.
Never Give Up!
