The Murph

The PAX met in the parking lot, near Sidney Fenn Elementary School for some stretches

The Murph (In honor of all the veterans who served and still serve this wonderful country, for Lt. Michael Murphy and Special Forces (Navy Seal and team who gave their life in battle), and for the 100 Post men @UniBaller, @Redman, @Shugah(100 Q’s) and myself) @Slow Pitch:

1 Mile run (4 laps around the tennis courts)
100 push ups
200 merkins
300 air squats
1 Mile run

The PAX gave a valiant effort and worked their tails off in a half hour to get in as many reps as possible for this one. Most got at least one mile running (some close to two). It’s hard to say how many reps were completed, but I could have used a few more myself (ran out of time). This is a great workout to see how you progress personally the next time!

Utmost respect for our veterans who wore the uniform, to those who fought for this country. Respect today for those in the 100 post club (Uniballer, Redman, Shugah (100 Q’s)!Just like Lt Murphy and thousands of other veterans of war, we as men, need to stand up and persevere. Stand up for others that need our help, stand up for our families and stand up for those that don’t have the strength. Put things into perspective when you’re having a bad day, or going through a short-term rough patch in life. Smiling through the tough valleys of life, still praising God along the way, will make the mountains seen that much more beautiful!As I just celebrated a birthday this week, I stopped to think about all the things I’m thankful for (a good month to do that, btw).
I’m most thankful for a God that loves me and who will never leave me. I’m thankful for a beautiful wife and two beautiful kids. (I love being a DAD!) And, health for us all. For parents who stayed together and raised me. Also, for this group of men to fellowship with. I appreciate you guys! Here’s to 100!!!Prayers and praises…For this group of guys!
