Josh wanted to go check out a church last Sunday in Myrtle Beach. The preacher was in the middle of a series and was preaching on Ezekiel 37. In this passage God’s asks Ezekiel if he believed that these dry bones could come back to life. The dried bones represented the hopelessness of the people of Israel. And Ezekiel believed.

The pastor spoke about how hopelessness breeds hopelessness – and we see it all the time around us (in our homes, our finances, at work, throughout social media). This was easy to grasp.

But what hit me over the head is how he talked about how the opposite is also true. Hope breeds Hope. This is harder to grasp because we don’t see it playing out as often in society as we do hopelessness.

My challenge to myself is to start bringing hope to the table in tough situations instead of hopelessness and pray that it breeds hope in others.
