Workout:
Block 1 – partner A did 15 swings and 15 squats while partner B did suicides to the 10, 20 and 30. Then they switched
Block 2 – lunge leap frog – partner A stayed at the goal line and planked while B lunged to the 20 yard line. Then A ran to B, then lunged to the 40, dropped to a plank, and then B repeated this.
Block 3 – A stayed at the goal line doing KB split squats while B sprinted to the 40 and moseyed/walked back. Then they did the switch-a-roo. I audibled on the split squats after a couple rounds, we needed a longer rest for the sprints to be effective.
COT:
Rumination ain’t good! He’s a definition I found online: “Rumination is the destructive, repetitive cycle of chewing on negative thoughts, often causing us to become victims of past mistakes or future worries rather than living in the present. It turns overthinking into a mental loop that exhausts energy, increases anxiety, and hinders happiness.” I think often we think we’re solving problems when we do this but really it’s just creating mental anguish. I’ve found that conversations with honest friends, exercising, spending time with people you trust/love, etc… can be helpful to break that loop.
