Workout:

Frisbee prep means shuttle runs. Pax paired up on one sideline and did the following: 5 reps of merkins, big boys, squats. Then, did relay race style running to the close hash and back. After that, partners did the same exercises and ran to the far hash and back. Then, partners did the same exercises and ran to the sideline and back. Did this for 5 rounds while rotating partners along the way. Pax then circled up and did a sequence of Mary:30 sec high plank, 60 sec low plank, 60 sec low one leg plank, 20 flutter kicksThen, Pax partnered back up and finished things off with 2 more rounds of running skipping the exercises. The final unexpected challenge was getting the coupons into cars since we won’t be back at Woodridge for a while.

COT:

Focus on Unity and being stronger together. Imagine a brick wall. It’s strong and durable. Then, imagine taking one brick out of the wall and putting it on the ground. The wall would still stand even though it would be weaker. It would have some exposure but largely would still be okay. But then think of the one brick on the ground. It’s weak, it’s vulnerable. It’s exposed on all sides. This is what happens to you when you leave a group, specifically a group you know deep down that you’re meant to be involved with. The group misses you but still survives, while you end up disconnected and more exposed on our own.
