Workout:

After I nice warm-up, we turned Waddle loose to Q part 1 of the Beatdown (which was not easy). This was a very short rendition of the Worlds Toughest Mile. So this consisted of 25 yards of each of the following Burpee Broad jumps, Lunges, Bearcrawls, and jog. For Part 2 of the Beatdown, we passed it off to IcyHot for some DORA. This consisted of the following with jog to opposite sideline and back plus 2 burpees (because we must not have done enough with Waddle)…Block MerkinsCurlsOH PressesI think there was more but I didn’t make it that far

For Part 3, someone decided it was Software’s turn so he led us in a Tabata style workout of 35 seconds on, 10 seconds off of the following exercises…SurrendersSSHMountain ClimbersTree HuggersLateral Jumps

Ended with some Mary led by Shugah. He went with slow/fast Freddie Mercurys.  I think he may have been the only one that didn’t stop during it.

COT:

September is Suicide Awareness Month, and it’s a reminder that sometimes the strongest-looking guys may be carrying the heaviest burdens.

That’s why our F3 brotherhood matters. We’re not just here to get stronger physically—we’re here to live life together. We should notice when a brother isn’t himself. We should ask the follow-up questions. We need to stay connected to one another.

But ultimately, our hope isn’t found in F3—it’s found in Jesus.Galatians 6:2 says,”Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ”

So let’s be men who follow Christ and follow up on our brothers. Don’t be afraid to reach out. Don’t assume someone is okay because they look okay. And if you’re the one struggling, don’t isolate yourself—let your brothers in.

F3 gives us the opportunity to live out what Christ calls us to do: encourage one another, carry one another, and point one another back to Jesus.Know your brothers. Love your brothers. Check on your brothers. And keep pointing each other toward Christ.

Who are you going to check on this week?

EXTRA: Huge thanks to @Radio for his leadership of the MAC Region from it’s conception until now. Hoping that I can lead 73.2 percent as well as him.

Great conversations at Coffeeteria while drinking extremely strong coffee that @Software made. Not sure any of us will sleep for a few days.
