The thought of the day comes by way of Moses whom God called to free the Hebrews from the Egyptians. The Hebrews witnessed many miracles in the process of gaining their freedom including plagues, locusts, a bloody river, and dying first-borns. They witnessed a pillar of fire that stopped the Egyptian chariots. They witnessed the Red Sea being parted for them and then crash down on the Egyptian that was army racing toward them. After only 40 days of waying for Moses who had gone up a mountain to speak to God, the Hebrews had already forgotten. They crafted a golden calf and started worshiping that. How easily we forget what God has done for us. Let’s continuously remember and worship God by putting him at #1.
