Workout:

After a brief warmup, the PAX headed to the 5-man Football Sled for a fun filled Beatdown. We took turns in groups of 5 pushing the sled 15ish yards. Switched groups and did same thing. Rinse and repeat for 25ish minutes. This was a leg and cardio burner.

COT:

at church this weekend our pastor preached about Matthew 19 where Jesus had it an interesting encounter with a rich young man. And this encounter the man asked Jesus what does he need to do to get to heaven and have eternal life. Jesus tells him he needs to follow all the Commandments in which the young man responds which ones are you talking about? Jesus starts to Rattle off the Commandments and the man quickly stops him after only naming six of the 10 and tell Jesus that he follows all those Commandments saying that he he’s got it and asked Jesus what else does he need to do for eternal life. Jesus tells him to go sell all of his possessions and give them to the poor and then follow him. The scripture then says that the man left sad because of this.

This brought up the convicting question of what is it that we are gripping on to that is keeping us from going all in on Jesus?

For me I think it is comfort and control that I am scared to lose if I go all in. My challenge to the PAX is to meditate on this question…What is the thing or things that you are gripping onto that are keeping you from the freedom of a life all in on Christ?Give them to Christ and see what he does with you that will be more than you could ever imagine
