Discussed a podcast I am listening to call Principles Of War.  They discuss military history and examine war strategy.  One of the things they talk about is identifying an enemy’s Center of Gravity.  This can be a city, position, or military unit.  Something that if destroyed would end an enemy’s will to fight.  This can be used in your personal life also.  What is your own Center of Gravity? Is it your marriage, kids, work, or faith?  What does everything in your life revolve around?  What if destroyed would end your will?  After thinking about this I would say my work unfortunately is my Center of Gravity.  Because I feel everything depends upon that.  For those of you lucky ones, your marriage may be your CoG.  I think for most of you reading this, your faith is your CoG, which ain’t to shabby.  Identifying your CoG and protecting that at all costs is a goal we should all strive to accomplish.
