Thought today and this time of year is about looking forward, not in the past or where we are now.  In Ultimate frisbee, we throw (attempt to) where the person is going to be, not where they are now.  We can’t keep treating people based on who they used to be.  Real encouragement means believing in who they are becoming.Hebrews 10:24 says:“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”That means we look ahead, not behind.Our words, our patience, our leadership should help others move forward — not hold them back.
