Workout:

Copycat recipe from Full Tilt – F3 channel Freedom, Faith and Flamethrowersinspired by workouts Bruce Lee would complete to get ready for his fights/movies. 3 rounds of weighted exercises with an active rest of cardio between the sets.

Round 1: Enter the Dragon3x15 sets of weighted squats3x15 sets of triceps choice3x15 sets of curls for the girls~2 min of cardio choice – run a lap, walk the field or something in the middle. Modify as necessary!

Round 2: Fists of Fury3x15 sets of wrist curlsx20 ea. arm for coupon arm isolation merkins3x15 sets of reverse curls (slow on the negative)~2 min of cardio choice

Round 3: Game of Death3x15 sets of imperial stormkickers3x15 sets of overhead press3x15(each arm) sets of lawnmowers~2 min of cardio choice

CoPx15 reps for each PAX – American hammers, LBCs, crunchy frogs, Superman, big bois, low plank, 6 sec hold, pickle pointers, and one other exercise I can’t remember. (edit: GAS PUMPS!)

My dad and I had the awesome opportunity to enjoy club seats at the monsters game last night. Thanks to @McCracken for the hook up! 2 periods in, and it looked like we were not going to come away with the W. The Monsters ended period 2 with half as many shots taken as Syracuse…Syracuse had a point and we didn’t. I made the comment to my Dad as we were waiting for the 3rd period to start, “It would be great if we started to get some momentum going on the rink, and actually shoot the puck.” It’s simple, but it’s what needed to happen. Third period began with an immediate Monsters goal after an aggressive attack on the goalie with multiple shots. They didn’t let up and they scored. Then the kept on shooting! The game ended 4-1 with a Monsters victory and we went home happy!”

SHOOT THE PUCK!” – Shoresy. You can’t score if you don’t make an attempt. This is a great lesson to apply to many aspects of life. Apply where needed.
