Psalms 34:18 from The Message translation says “If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath.”I really like how this translation paints a picture of what broken feels like and how God comes along side you to help you with your most basic need – catch your breath so you can keep going.
