Run

We took off one at a time starting at 05:15. Cadet was off first and disappeared into the darkness as Padre arrived and put on his headlamp. Shugah had messaged me earlier to tell me he is running late and to start without him. He would catchup.  Even with a 5 minute head start, Shugah passed me shortly after the bridge. I pushed my runs a little today and felt good.I decided ruck with the vest again.  Struggling a little, but encouragement from the PAX, push myself. Feeling the accomplishment, I took off the vest and walked another 4.22 miles with my wife and dogs.
A total of 9+ miles this morning. Boy am I paying for it now!
