Brick Beatdown

Warm-up:

Michael Phelps, SSH x 15, Turn n Bounce

Workout:

  • Mosey to shed to pick up 2 bricks per PAX
  • 400m run with bricks to far side of parking log near Rt. 303 entrance
  • 4 Sets of the following exercises (all using bricks)
    • 20 merkins
    • 15 goblet squats
    • 20 BBSU
    • 15 overhead press
    • 20 overhead tricep extensions
  • 20 dying bugs (4 count)
  • 100 curls
  • 400m run across the playground area back to the shed
  • 12 “heals to heaven”

COT:

  • Building on the “Competence to Confidence” COTs we had last week
  • We know we need to take action and get started in order to build competence….but we are often timid, don’t know where to start, or feel incapable
  • A couple of thoughts to encourage us to take small steps
    • Kaizen – a philosophy about making small, incremental changes/improvements that will make a big impact in the long-term. What can you do this week to take a small step of action towards improvement?
