I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how life comes in seasons.

Some seasons are about building. Others are about waiting. Some are filled with joy, while others are marked by loss, change, or uncertainty. We often wish we could skip the hard seasons, but every season has something to teach us.

Ecclesiastes 3 says, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.” The challenge isn’t wishing we were in a different season (To quote @Hardware – we love to say “if only”)—it’s asking what this season is trying to produce in us.

The season you’re in today won’t last forever. Not the good ones and not the difficult ones. Our job isn’t to control the seasons; it’s to be faithful in the one we’re in and to be steady to those around us that depend on us.

Question: What season are you in right now, and what is it trying to teach you?
