“Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped.”‭‭Job‬ ‭1‬:‭20‬ ‭AFTER Job lost all of his great material possessions and all of his children in one day, he mourns the loss and continues to worship God for His goodness. We all see minor setbacks and major catastrophes in our lives and the lives of those around us. In the midst of the chaos Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians to “be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭16‬:‭13‬ God is faithful, and even when it’s really hard to see Him, we can trust Him. Go out this week to your families and jobs and anywhere else, confident in God’s goodness; and act like men. It’s an honor to journey with all of you.
