COT:

Continuing the discussion of having patience with children and providing positive reinforcement and setting a good example for those closest to us in our lives.

Our children first experience God’s love through us. We lead them there.

We can look at how Jesus approached others where they were and wanted to teach them. How God is a God of love and mercy, and how he created us in His image and likeness and with free will to choose Him. We have to acknowledge this in our children and model it for them.

And in a broader sense, we can emulate acting as Jesus did in all aspects of our life to continue to be high-impact men who leave people and situations better than when we found them!

@Padre, Thanks for your reminder of the story of Jesus and the woman who was caught in the act of adultery. Jesus touched the earth to remind us that he came down to meet us where we are at. “He who is without sin, may cast the first stone.”
