Each pax grabbed 2 coupons and then the 4 Pax took on the 5 man sled doing the following exercise –
Both coupons placed 5 yards short of the sled
Push sled 10 yards
Mosey back to coupons and farmer’s carry the coupons down to the goal line
Do a set of burpees (started at 10 and worked down the ladder)
Farmer’s Carry the coupons back to 5 yards nehind the sled.
Rinse and repeat
Example: If sled was at the 30, coupons were set at the 25. Sled was pushed to the 40. Blocks were carried from the 25 back to the goal line. Burpees were performed and then blocks were carried to the 35 for another round.
As the sled moved further away from the goal line, the farmer’s carries got longer and the burpees reps dropped
Message today was about the Apostle Paul. Before his dramatic conversion to Christianity in Acts 9 he was known as Saul and was a ‘pharisee of the pharisees’. His mission was to spread Judaism and he was extremely dedicated to what he thought was following God. He oversaw the execution of many Christians thinking he was following the will of God. Proverbs 14:12 tells us that there is a way that seems right to man that will lead to death and destruction. As I think about these two things, my takeaway is that we need to be spending time with God regularly to make sure we’re truly following his path for us. It’s a place that I fall short in my life because I just feel so busy all the time, but I know that it is necessary to fulfill all that He has for us.
