Playing with blocks

  • Start with coupon on the goal line.
  • 25 Squats– Mosey with coupon to the 35 (leave coupon there till the end of the Beatdown)
  • 25 Curls – mosey to goal line
  • 25 calf raises – mosey to 35
  • 25 overhead Press into tricep extension, mosey to goal line
  • 25 Lunges – mosey to 35
  • 25 Crossed arm raises – mosey to goal line w/coupon after 5th round

Completed 4 rounds for a total of  600 reps and 840 yards.

COT:

March 11,2020, 5th anniversary of the NBA shutting down games due to COVID. This was the first domino to fall when it came to shutting down around the nation. First the NBA, then the NHL and MLB were right behind. That’s when I was placed on leave.

COVID affected us all in different ways and we all have our stories. IMO this really affected the way we interact with one another. During the shutdowns, we all flooded to social media and soon everything became black or white. We had no gray area to speak in, sides had to be chosen. Unfortunately that still permeates today. If we can get back to the way we used to interact in small pockets, hopefully it spreads to others who then share it with more and more people.

We also saw how quickly that the normal things we took for granted of suddenly disappeared. It’s a lesson to be thankful for what we have in front of us because we never know when it can all be taken away.
