Today was one of those days that I just didn’t want to be here. Getting over being sick, stress of work getting ready for Opening Day, etc. Felt like a day to hit the snooze 3-4 more times. However it’s the accountability that we always talk about, not just to ourselves but the rest of this group, that got me up and out the door. It’s a powerful thing.
Monday when I DR’d because I felt horrible I happened to open an email from F3 Nation. It spoke of that first decision we make in the morning that could define our day. When we decide to go back to bed, we have our first failure of the day and at times it multiplies throughout that day. This hit me like the parent who isn’t mad at you, they’re just disappointed. I then thought, could I have made it to F3, modified what I did during that workout despite feeling bad. It stuck with me the entire day.As we finished todays workout, while I didn’t want to be here prior to 6am, by the end of Mary I felt accomplished and was glad I was here to go through todays workout with the rest of you. It’s what makes this group so special.
