We took a brief mosey to the hill above the softball field. From there, we did the normal stretchy stuff, with emphasis on the shoulders and hips…the typical @Radio weak spots.
PAX started at the bottom of the hill with 10 burpees, ascended the hill, and did ten hammer thrusts into the ground. Repeated with descending burpees, 9,8,7, etc. down to 1. Round two involved 10 squats at the bottom with ten sledgehammer windmills at the top. Again, hammer reps stayed at 10, while squats were reduced by 1 per round.
LBCs while holding hammer over chest, x25 with hammerhead to the left, x25 with hammerhead to the right. 25 true American HAMMERS!
This was all about momentum. As is the case with much of life, once you got the hammer moving, the reps became much easier. Get some positive momentum going early in your day, and life goes so much better. It can be as simply as making your bed to start your day off with a positive. Tackle that tough office task early, and the rest of the day is a walk in the park. Get some positive momentum going, and life gets much easier!
