COT:

Tomorrow is Pearl Harbor Day.  Roughly 2400 US servicemen lost their lives on 12/7/1941, and another 1100 were injured.  Of the 8 battleships in the Harbor, all 8 were damaged, while four were sunk.  We lost 188 aircraft, and another 159  were damaged.  The Japanese also destroyed three each of our light cruisers, destroyers, and supply vessels. This day most certainly changed US, as well as World history.  In our current political climate of forgetting things as recent as 9/11, I ask that each of you take a moment and reflect on the men that lost their lives that infamous day, and the effect it had on future events.  It is my belief that this spawned the Greatest Generation, a sense of patriotism, and the path that our country would follow for the following decades.  Never forget.
