COT:

A new year brings new opportunities, new challenges, and a chance to start fresh. A lot of people like to do New Year’s resolutions, and there’s nothing wrong with that, but a lot of times we ignore our spiritual life. God tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new!”
Every day we get a chance to start new, no matter what we’ve done or who we are. In Christ, you are a new creation. The Bible also tells us in Lamentations 3:22-23
“22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
On this journey to be the husband’s and father’s friends and mentors that we need to be. Don’t be frustrated when you screw up God’s mercies are new for you.
