Workout:

@Bunny Hill‘s immaculate form the other day made me remember I could be SO much better at slowing things down and doing them right(ish) so I tried to bake that into the workout plan…(I must get used to @Wall-E and @Focker always being form kings…)Much like the song, we tried to start slow, crescendo and then bring it back down before doing it all again…

Exercises:
Squat holds (5-second count) – emphasis to get depth and then full extension at the top – x5
Air squats – same emphasis – x10
Monkey humpers – emphasis on not crying
(or mods)

Followed by:
Running every flight of stairs (those ones at the end felt neglected and in need of some foot love)
(or mods)

Followed by:
Slow mosey back to the start to repeat

6MOM:

Boat hold into crunchy frogs
LBC series (normal, side(s), alternating butterfly)
6″ hold and lifts

COT:

What if we saw souls instead of bodies? What would be “attractive”? What would be “successful”? What would be your New Year’s Resolution? I found this concept to be very soothing and meaningful in a world so easily distracted by material/corporal identity… feels extremely refreshing and substantive to think about my fellow friends in this group in terms of the ways their souls have guided/influenced me. Thank you, all.
