We started things off with some stretching and the motivator.
Then, in honor of my awesome dad who loved buying his family gifts…and multiple instances of the same gift… we simplified the gifts across the 12 days… first 4 days being burpees… second 4 being merkins and the last 4 being big boys…
The format was as follows:
Farmers carry 10 yards per day… do the day’s count of the given exercise and then farmers carry back, stopping at each previous day and repeating that exercise for the applicable number of reps (I.e., — feel free to awkwardly sing this in your head — on the fifth day of Fitmas, f3 gave to me… a 50 yard carry and five freaking no cheat merkins… 4 burpees.. 3 burpees… 2 burpees and an extra burpee just for shits… — it rhymes, I promise…)
Anyway, we got to day 10 and ran out of time so we skipped ahead to day 12.
