@Shugah showed off his rifle by throwing the football as far as the eye could see. PAX took turns picking the mode of transport to the ball, and an exercise once we got to the ball. Mosey or shoulder carry the coupon back, depending on what was picked.
Modes of transport included: Rifle carry, farmer’s carry, shoulder carry, bear crawl, karaoke, Sprint, broadjump, back pedal
Exercises included: Merkins, Shoulder Press, Chest Press, Weighted Squats, Air pressed, dips, cherry pickers, shoulder taps, plus others I’m sure I’m missing
same format, but with core exercises: Big Boys, Crunchy Frogs, American Hammers, LBCs
@Squealer and @Radio failed miserably in their attempts to end Mary with Field Goals, which resulted in another round of LBCs and Dr. Ws. Luckily @Padre saved the day with a beautiful kick, right through the uprights!
After @Wall-E‘s COT the other day, I got to thinking about max effort in our workouts, and how getting to our goals is involves a two pronged attack. Just being there is step number one. We have to get ourselves out of bed, and to the beatdown, before anything good can happen. Once we’ve gotten there, then we have to give the effort. The more effort, the better the results. Just getting there, and max effort once you get there. The two can work together to make you a better you.
BTW, I was given some crap about the preblast having the wrong time. I went back and checked, and it looks right to me.
