PAX:
Workout:
Warmup and stretchies for the 12 PAX who were put to the test today. EVERYONE improving on previous scores for the 1 mile and Merkin Max. Great job.
A quick 10 minute 4 corner Rock Paper Scissors game, and 3 Minutes of Mar capped it off.
COT:
The improvements we saw today were made possible by persistence and discipline. A Roman commander once demonstrated this by having a competition of removing a horses tail. The big brut soldier who attempted to remove it all at once once was not at all successful, and the scene was kind of comical as he struggled. A meager, scruffy looking soldier pulled hairs one by one and succeeded in removing the tail. A graphic demonstration of the importance of patience and persistence. The regular, consistent application of discipline is a recipe for success. It can mean doing a little exercise regularly, reading a little, writing a little, studying a little. Whatever the endeavor, apply that consistent, regular work toward your goals and slowly but surely the success will come.
