As we enter Thanksgiving week, we are reminded to be grateful for something. There is actual neuroscientific evidence of the changes in the brain, especially to the sympathetic nervous system with regard to the way that we are capable of handling anxiety. The more grateful we are, the better our body will work to help us deal with stress and anxiety. My challenge to all of us is to express gratitude multiple times throughout the day for the remainder of the year and observe the changes which hopefully will carry us into 2024 and beyond.
