Eight (or 10 or 12) Crazy Nights - A Hanukkah Q

Sat., Dec. 17, 2022 / 07:00 am - 08:00 am / Copley High School

Icy Hot

Warm-up:

neck rolls, arm circles, Michael Phelps, tappy taps, Cossacks, slow squats, 1.5 lap mosey around track.

Workout:

Pax took coupons to center field to establish the “Shin zone”.  The workout was designed so that each corner of the field represented one night of Hanukkah.  At each corner, 1 HIM would spin the dreidel and the result would reveal how many (or if) the exercise for that station would be completed.  The exercise was then randomly drawn.  Each Hebrew letter would have a different result for that exercise.

Nun = skip that station and move on
Gimel = completing all reps the exercise
Hei = half reps of the exercise
Shin = going to the center and drawing from a special group of exercises (man-makers, curls, presses, etc)

We started by rolling 5 consecutive “Shin” before we were able to move on to the different stations and performed various exercises like flutter kicks, squats and 36 4ct monkey humpers) all while listening to selections of Hanukkah songs or singers who celebrate Hanukkah (Neil Diamond, David Lee Roth, KISS, Beastie Boys)

COT:

Thought of the day is about having faith that God will provide as in the story that marks Hanukkah when oil that was just enough for 1 day lasted 8.
