COT:
Partly from Kyle Idleman’s book “Don’t Give Up” — it’s important to remember that God and growth can be found in struggle, in
pain, in desperation. We sometimes are misled by the faulty expectation that life will go as planned, or will be without pain and struggle. And we sometimes not only feel disappointed or angry, we feel alone or unique in our struggle(s). Especially if we believe the social media posts, and appearances people put on, are the ONLY side of the story. But struggle and challenges are part of the “Cost of being Human” (cost of doing business). It’s a tough truth, but it is A truth. And knowing it and believing it can help us move forward. And then once we make that decision to move forward, when we look for where to find strength to do so, look to the One who created our planet, our universe, and each one of us. He is there ready, and waiting. And based in his past experience/resume, QUITE capable. And on the other side, there will be growth. So take that cost— that struggle— head on, find His strength, and get out there a grow.
