Workout:

Four stations around the end zone of the football field. Jog the length and sprint the width with kettlebell(s).

Station 1
Lap 1, 2, and 3 -Turkish get ups x10 (5 each arm)
Station 2
Lap 1 – Kettlebell swings x25
Lap 2 – Shoulder Press x2 x10
Lap 3 – Row x2 x10
Station 3
Lap 1 – Side crunches x2 x 25
Lap 2 – Deadlifts x 25
Lap 3 – Merkins x2 x10
Station 4
Lap 1 – Goblet squat x25
Lap 2 – Reverse lunge x2 x10
Lap 3 – Side lunge x2 x10

COT:

I have coached a lot of youth sports over the years. However, over the last couple years I have seen a change in parents and coaching behaviors. There is a lot of anger shown at youth events and in our community. I don’t know if this is an impact of Covid or social media, but I find it shocking how some adults behave in front of the children. I would like to challenge our group to make sure we are focused on making youth sports a positive experience for our children and challenge members of community if they are acting in a negative manor at an event. If we can promote positivity in our community, we will bring the community with us.
