Run

Run for 18 minutes out and 18 minutes back. Simple and to the point. No owl today but there were skunk, raccoon and bunny sightings.

Thought of the Day came from the story of Elisha and the woman who had nothing but a little bit of oil. Her son’s were going to have to be slaves because she couldn’t pay off a debt, so she went to Elisha and asked what to do. He said to close the door to her house. Take the oil and start filling as many jars as possible. The oil flowed and flowed filling an incredible numbers of jars that she was then able to sell to pay off the debt. What I thought stood out about this story was not even the miracle itself, but the direction to close the door. To me, it’s an example that God wants personal moments with us. He could’ve done this miracle in public for everyone to see but instead the door being closed was emphasized.
