Shugah

Warm-up:

  • Arm circles
  • Turn and bounce
  • Single leg over/down/back
  • Down dog/hip stretch

Workout:

  • Partner relay sprints around track to goal line
  • Partner under / over – 2 sets each
    • Partner 1 holds plank
    • Partner 2 army crawls under partner
    • Partner 1 goes down to low merkin hold
    • Partner 2 jumps over and repeats 5x
    • Switch
  • Partner wheelbarrows – 2 sets each
    • Partner 1 wheelbarrows 10 yard (first set was 20 yards)
    • Partner 1 does 10 merkins while partner two still holds feet and does 10 deep squats
    • Switch
  • Partner wall sits w/block – 2 sets
    • Partners squat hold back to back
    • Hand block around to partner
    • About 30 seconds per set
  • Partner reaction footwork – 1 set each (modified from 2 for time)
    • Partner 1 side shuffle, forward run, backwards run
    • Partner 2 mirrors in reverse
    • Approx. 1 minute per set
  • Partner shuffle races – until time allowed
    • Partners line up on goal line facing each other
    • Partner 1 shuffles side to side
    • Partner 2 mirrors them
    • Partner 1 goal is trying to create enough separation from partner 2 to cross line untouched
    • Rotate

6MOM:

  • Partner russian twists w/block (2 sets)
  • Partner big boys w/ block (3 sets)

COT:

Try to eliminate “I wish” and “I hope” from your vernacular. Instead focus on appreciating the world around you right now. First step is catching yourself every time you say it. If you’re like me, you’ll be surprised how often it is said. Acknowledge it. Then refocus on now.
