8 men of F3 Medina gathered in the gloom and with some storm clouds gathering in the west to lament the travesty of the Cleveland Browns and work to make themselves a little better. The PAX consisted of @Wall-E @Shugah @Garmin @Radio @Lincoln @Modell @g-plate (FNG) and @Squealer (Q)After the warm up, we collected coupons and met in the NW corner of the end zone for a Tabata style circuit all with a block:Blerkins
Bent over rows
BurpeesWe did that 3x through, 35 seconds on, 10 seconds off. After the 3rd round we did a full Motivator and then one more tabata round for good measure.
V-ups ring of fire style. Holding the up position we rent around the horn to 40 and then in reverse which, after an inauspicious start worked out well enough.
In addition to naming our FNG, Jon Gilbert or G-Plate for the Garbage plate breakfast we can all look forward to him making us one day (welcome, G-Plate!!), we talked about the quote “It’s not how you start that matters, it’s how you finish.” Obviously the Browns game planted the seed but it applies to all of us too. Getting the first 6 AM workout of the week in on Monday is great. But if you spent the balance of the week in the fart sack, what good did it really do? Keep pushing and preparing for the challenges ahead. Both those you know about and the unexpected ones as well. It was my pleasure to lead this group this morning!
