Workout:

Started with 2/3 of a lap around the track and each Pax grabbed 2 coupons each. Performed a Motivator from 8. Then did a Monkey Humper version of the Motivator from 5. Next, did a 100 yard farmer’s carry before breaking into the main exercise.

The main event of the morning was the Stow/Falls introduction to monkey rolls, which essentially is 3 people taking turns rolling on the ground and getting back up just to roll again. Like the 3 man weave in basketball except rolling on the ground. Here’s a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDUGalio0DY . While 3 of the Pax performed monkey rolls, one Pax did monkey humpers while the 5th Pax did a farmer’s carry to the 50 yard line & back (props to Software for going 100 & back on the first one before we had to adjust). Then, once the farmer’s carry person returned we rotated spots. Did 2 full rounds.

6MOM:

Finished with 30 lbc’s, 15 American Hammers (Russian Twists) and a 200 yard farmer’s carry for good measure.

COT:

Message today was from Matthew 8:5-13. A Roman centurion comes to Jesus and asks him to heal his servant who is paralyzed. Jesus says he will come and and heal him, but the centurion says that is not necessary because he believes that if Jesus just speaks the word that his servant will be healed. In the NKJV it says Jesus ‘marveled’ at his response and said that he had not found such great faith, not even in Israel. My hope for all of us is that we can be men of faith and that our faith levels grow over time to be more like the centurion.
